Public Health Advisor
My long-term goals tend to focus on the delivery of sustainable WASH
and public health interventions in regions of violent conflict and
post-conflict around the world. And, as a result of these personal and
professional goals, infectious diseases and WASH civil engineering
within these settings have been my primary academic focus thus far –
having obtained my MPH from Emory in 2015 and my MSc in WASH civil
engineering from the University of Leeds in 2016.
However, I also have extensive clinical and practical field experience
within various settings—including IDP and refugee—in countries such as
Armenia, Georgia, Sierra Leone, and Madagascar. And, as a result of
these past experiences, and as acting public health advisor to Help
for Optimism, it is my job to offer assistance and advice pertaining
to all matters related to improving Madagascan public health by way of
H4O interventions and/or project activities.
