Umberto Sala

Umberto is a professional event manager, who also recently developed his passion and talent for exploring the world and storytelling. In 2018, Umberto graduated from the Travel Film School, a dedicated course about travel reportage and documentary film-making. Umberto was then generous and curious enough to fly all the way to see us and shoot his first travel reportage, “Learning Optimism”, on an entirely pro-bono basis. “Learning Optimism” tells the story of Umberto’s discovery of our projects, and, in particular, our work in the island of Nosy Mitsio, where our team joined forces with the local community to create access to clean water. The reportage is now a key feature of our communications and events strategy. Umberto keeps bringing his video and photo skills to produce new, exciting communication material for H4O
